First founded in the 1470's by Red Hugh O Donnell, known as The O'Donnell. He was one of the O'Donnell clan whos castle history and photos can be seen here. He is also the Chieftan who's sculpture can be seen here

Stunning as usual! Is there any way you could possibly take a picture of the post office in Birdhill, Co Tipp? I'm finishing my book on my life in Ireland "I Once had a farm in Ireland" and would love to have a pic from the inside.I guess they haven't renovated it?
