Sculpture to the executed leaders 1916, Kilmainham Gaol

Outside of Kilmainham Gaol there is this striking sculpture dedicated to the executed leaders of the 1916 rising. There will be more pictures on Kilmainham Gaol later with some of its history .
A brass plate has a copy of the Proclamation of Independence that was read out by the leaders, somehow i managed not to get a shot of this.
"We declare the right of the people of Ireland to the ownership of Ireland, and to the unfettered control of Irish destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible"
As you can see they are striking even on their own.
At the base of each has their verdict

This was a very moving sculpture, and you captured it very well. It is also worth noting that this is outside the jail, so even if you don't have tickets or time to go inside, you can see this.
