Under bare Ben Bulben's head
In Drumcliff churchyard Yeats is laid
These shots are taken just north of Drumcliff where W.B. Yeats is buried, those words were part of the poem Under Ben Bulben. I know I have taken pics of it before but it is a striking mountain, the way it shoot straight up sharply.
A shot from the foot looking out to the sea

Wow ... that's a very striking color in the sky in those top two pictures. Beautiful but also almost a little eerie ... especially in the second shot.
It was a horrible day today, when the weather cleared this was the scene, poor me having to put this vista all day
Reminds me of Iceland and the Faroe Islands - The weather there is so unpredictable! :P
The way the clouds lays makes the mountains look like Icelandic volcano craters. :p
we had bad weather here, these mountains raise so steeply that any cloud has a nice effect
