Paz's Law of Relative Distance
Basically its as follows, the distance between two absolute points is relative to where you're viewing them from. There is no need for hard mathematical equations to explain this phenomenon, it is easily proved where one Inch can equal 2 Kilometers (see Below), yet further along the road the observer might notice that one Inch may be equal to 3 Kilometers.
It is also a proven fact that the distance between 2 Inch's can be equal to 261.96 Kilometers, to test this yourself on Google Earth put a marker in for Inch Co Wicklow Lat 52°44'40.10"N Long 6°13'35.23"W and then another for Inch Co Kerry Lat 52° 8'58.12"N Long 9°58'10.35"W then use the ruler to measure the distance is approx 261.96 Kilometers. :D

lol!! What do you plan to spend the prize money on?
First I have to publish a scholarly tome so my theory gets out there amongst the scienticians.
I will have to go to Oslo to collect , so I assume dinner with some friends and some of finest wines known to humanity, would not be out of order!

No laughing matter madam, very serious stuff! You'll see when I get my Nobel in physics. ;P
Alas!! It's only the Peace Prize that's awarded in Oslo - the one for physics you'd have to go to Stockholm to collect. :-( But otherwise it sounds like a great plan. You could fly to Stockholm with a stopover in Oslo ... ;-)
