Woodlawn Gatehouse and Tower, County Galway
I have photographed the gatehouse before, but lately the tower and gateway have been cleared and tidied up a walkway put in. These are part of Woodlawn house estate, built in the late 18th century by the Ashton family, they were peers and were important enough to get the Dublin Galway railway to pass through their land. they owned 8300 acres in Galway, part of their total 25ooo plus land holdings

Still loving it! :D
Glad you like madam, hows your summer going, notice your too busy to take pictures :P
:)
Haven't exactly been that busy, more the opposite. I'm reported sick because of my arm (inflammation of a tendon), so I haven't been working this summer, just rolling around. Everyone's been busy, and as you know, I find portraits interesting but nobody's around long enough for a photosession! Quite annoying, actually. :-P Got some shots from my vacation at Cyprus, whatsoever.
I'm starting college August 10th, where I'm gonna study law. Kinda frightned about that, regretting I didn't choose something more creative including writing and photographing.
What about you? :D
law is creative writing! As far as I am aware there is no law yet that says you cannot take pictures while studying law! sorry to hear about arm.
I work at one of the least creative jobs, but it lets me travel so I can take pictures along the way
Yeah, guess you're right about that, but I don't think I'll have the time.
But travelling is fun, right? :D
I don't know about fun, but definitely interesting. Gets tiring staying in a different bed each night, I love to see new places but it would be more fun to relax in those places and explore more.
Know what you mean!
This place is so cool, it looks like there should be ghosts haunting it ... ! ;-)
Hilde, good luck at law school. Don't give up your photography though, you've got a real talent. :-)
The gatehouse and the tower have recently been tidied up they were covered in brush and easier to capture
Agree on Hilde not giving up the photograhy
Thanks, think I'm gonna need that!:)
Ireland is a beautiful country and I really want to see it !
Léo. From France.
