Croagh Patrick in the mist, Co Mayo

The Mountain is Croagh Patrick its a pilgrimage site and there' are gold in them there hills' but the Mayo county council elected not to mine it in the 80's, not only because its a pilgrimage site but its important to tourism in Westport, both for its scenery and for hill walkers. The quote from the council was that the Gold was fine where it was.

Good for them that they didn't mine it!! I so agree with that decision. :-)

I thinks so too, but with the way the economy is going here, they might rethink :P
