Shannon River, Athlone.

The Shannon is the longest River In Ireland, almost 390Km in length and derives its name from the Goddess Siona. These were taken in Athlone town, if you look at the last two pics barely visible beside the towers of the church you can see the outline of Athlone Castle.

I really like the lines in the first photo, beautiful the way the river flows behind the trees and out of sight. And I really like the last one as well, with the boat and the tree in the foreground.

Great place, must be a lovely walk in nice weather. My favorite is the bottom picture - so many good details in that one. :-)

I loved the last and the first, I was surprised how well they came out with my phone, It was a nice walk the town itself is not that nice on that side, I have never had the time to explore that castle :(
