Frawleys Bar Lahinch, Old Irish pub

This is what a real old bar looks like, it was part bar part shop, tea and salt one side of the bar beer and spirits on the other, they sell loose tea in hand wrapped packages tied up with string. This one also comes with the old owner asleep in behind the counter.

What a place ... ! :-D It looks almost like a museum ... that top one does anyway. With an old wax model of a typical shop owner/bar landlord included ... ! :-D

He only woke up once in the half an hour I was there, very life like animatronics

They've used sensors so that the figurine is only active when visitors are present. I bet they save a good bit of electricity that way.

Incredible place, wow..! I love it that Ireland still has these old-fashioned places; there are hardly any independent stores left here sadly, they all get taken over by the big chains.

most pubs outside of the city's are family owned, it was cute and the Guinness was like Ambrosia, tho' I do not usually drink it
