This is the only pic I have taken today one of the little birds that comes to feed, when my father was alive he would watch them for ages and sit with a contented smile on his face

Aw, my grandmother would do the same thing - she had lots of birds (and some squirrels too :-) coming to feed in the trees outside her kitchen window, she'd feed them all winter. :-)
